One Cool Cloudy Morning

It was a cool, cloudy Saturday morning and oddly, the turnout was mild. Mike Fox finally showed up at Pantera and sported a few bruises from some corporate league play. But many of the regulars were absent. I guess it is a little tough to get up on a cool, cloudy August morning. The sunny mornings always seem to squeeze more folks out of bed, even though it is coupled with the elevated tempertures.
You'll notice that the number of pictures in this posting has dropped significantly from last week. Our good buddy Robert wasn't there this weekend and I had few oppotunities for pictures because I was continuously playing ball. The only shots I took were taken as I arrived at the Park.

I imagine quite a few hoopsters are away on vacation. Apparently, Mike was away in Hawaii and Michigan. Virgil is off to Hawaii for a couple weeks. I guess that is were the missing can be found; Hawaii, Cancun, Puerta Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas and all. I'm just sitting here wondering why I'm not in one of those places. I'm anticipating going to Washington, DC or Oklahoma before the Summer ends. But nowhere as exotic and compeling as the aforementioned destinations. Maybe I'm just not living right, I need to change.

Steve left earlier than usual and dropped by Chapparal. He talked to a few folks there and they seemed to be saying that the courts will re-open in about two weeks. So everyone should make a note of that. perhaps in three weeks we return to Chapparal. I'll keep everyone posted.
